Strategic Role of the Creative Economy Development and International Cooperation
On May 9th, 2014, at Hotel Adriatic, Durres, The Adriapol Institute in collaboration with the University Marlin Barleti Tirana, under the high patronage of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania, organized the First International Forum ” Creative Economy and Smart Development”.
The first International Forum on “Creative Economy and Smart Development”, will also serve to lay the foundations for future initiatives and cooperation in the creative economy area between Albania, Italy, Greece, Kosovo, Macedonia, etc.
The event was attended by Mr. Erion Veliaj, Minister of Social Welfare and Youth, Mrs. Englantina Gjermeni, Minister of Urban Development and Tourism, Mrs. Manjola Gjoni Executive Director of The Albanian Investment Development Agency, Senator Mr. Piero Liuzzi, President of Consulting” Puglia”, Mr Paolo CASALINO, Leader of the Puglia Region and representatives from academic and business area.
Mrs. Manjola Gjoni, The Executive Director of AIDA, presented in her speech The Creative Economy Fund to help the Albanian SMEs emphasizing the purpose of this fund which is the development of crafts and handicrafts sector in Albania, creating a favorable environment for more sustainable economic activity and job creation.
